2020 was a tough year for everyone, but our ZippyCrowd community ended the year on a happy note, thanks to our talented and generous #LovedByLocals Makers! ZippyCrowd teamed up with 12 Melbourne small business owners to celebrate the spirit of the season by giving away gifts to 12 lucky winners, in our own take on 12 Days of Christmas! The campaign started on the 14th of December and ran for 12 days until Christmas. Each day, we featured a new Maker on our Instagram platform, spotlighting what they do and the giveaway they so generously offered.
Since 2020 compelled us to distance ourselves from each other, ZippyCrowd’s Christmas campaign’s main aim was to celebrate our sense of community, love and togetherness. Our goal was to usher in a time of giving, to ourselves and to each other. Participants were encouraged to nominate someone close to them to receive the gifts offered by our 12 wonderful Makers, in appreciation of the people who have been a part of their lives, throughout their lives and especially through the year of 2020.
